The Australian Foundation for Disability (AFFORD) Client Services provide skills development programmes for people with disability to extend their capabilities. Through Community Participation, Transition to Work and Post School Options programmes school leavers attend purpose designed modern, colourful and well appointed suburban centres.

The development of skills improves day-to-day communication and community activity and where suitable prepares individuals for employment through training with computers, TAFE courses, or taking on work experience within AFFORD Packaging Business Services or in Open Employment.   

AFFORD currently has Day Programme Centres established in Ashfield, Canley Vale, Campbelltown, Condell Park, Chipping Norton, Green Valley, Kings Park, Lakemba, Mt Druitt, Parramatta, Penrith, Ryde and Windsor (some centres opening 2009).

The Department of Ageing Disability and Home Care provide funding for clients accessing Community Participation, Transition to Work and Post School Options Programmes.
