AFFORD Fundraising Corporate Golf DayThursday, 2nd April 2009
The four seasons in one day did not stop the committed supporters of the Australian Foundation for Disability (AFFORD) from participating at the Annual AFFORD Fundraising Corporate Golf Day, which was held at the tranquil and picturesque Twin Creeks Private Golf and Country Club, Luddenham.
There were prizes, fun games, competitions and fantastic auction items on the most enjoyable day which all contributed to AFFORD’s extremely worthy cause.

HMAS Kanimbla Hosts 2009AFFORD's Under the Southern Cross Cocktail PartyThursday, 2nd April 2009
The Commander and the crew of the HMAS Kanimbla once again hosted a magnificent fundraising event on board the ship to raise funds for the Australian Foundation for Disability (AFFORD). The generous efforts of these individuals is helping support more than 1,000 people in AFFORD's care, many of them with profound disability.
The balmy summer's evening on majestic Sydney Habour, a setting sun, great food, superb wine, fantastic hospitality and entertainment was enjoyed by 200 guests. The officers and crew from HMAS Kanimbla have 'adopted' the Australian Foundation for Disability (AFFORD) as their charity of choice.
The Australian Foundation for Disability would like to sincerely thank all the guests for attending, their support and making this event a memorable experience.
