“The Australian Foundation for Disability – People Achieving Extraordinary Things”
The Australian Foundation for Disability (AFFORD) was established from a generous Bequest in 1951 to help people suffering the after-effects of Polio – and today relies on the support and generosity of individuals to provide the necessary resources to help improve the lives of people with disability.
Most of the people with disability we care for – those with severe and profound disability - cannot achieve their desired quality of life without assistance. Many people who want to support the work AFFORD does are providing a Bequest in their Will.
For some donors this allows them to make a contribution that does not affect their lifestyle and resources now; for others it is a way of continuing their financial support into the years ahead.
If you would like to make a Bequest to the future provision of training, facilities accommodation and jobs for people with disability in the care of the Australian Foundation for Disability, please either:
